In order to maintain the training your dog has learned through its B&T program, two additional private sessions are included. Scent Detection

Scent detection is an activity which allows your dog to use their keen sense of smell to detect odors. Scent work can be used in the context of a job or sport. Police, military and other working dogs are trained to detect various odors such as drugs, explosives, and firearms. Service dogs can be trained in scent work to be used as a medical alert or food allergen detection dog. Scent work can be a fun activity for any dog and owner. The target odor(s) can be anything you wish your dog to detect (ie. essential oils, antlers, food allergens, etc).

Tracking

Tracking uses a dog’s natural ability to follow a specific scent. Tracking is how police K9’s are able to find suspects and search and rescue dogs are able to find people who are lost.
